The Klickitat County Sheriff's Office has determined that there is no active threat and have cleared all buildings. We will come out of lockdown at this time and buses will begin running their afternoon routes.

White Salmon Valley School District
There has been a credible threat called in to the Klickitat County Sheriff's Office of a potential active shooter in the White Salmon Valley School District. All schools in the District are now in lockdown and will remain in lockdown until law enforcement ends the lockdown. There are deputies on site and we are in communication with the Klickitat County Sheriff's Office.
Buses will run when we are released from lockdown. Students can not be picked up, the entrances are blocked by law enforcement. An update will be sent as soon as possible.

Last weekend, the Columbia High School Rotary Interact Club collected five bags of litter from the sides of the road between WPSIS and Mountain View Grange. Earlier this year, they organized a Red Cross Blood drive which collected 45 pints of blood, primarily from first-time donors. Thank you for making a difference in our community!
