+ SAT

The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is a nationally normed test of student critical thinking skills to determine chances of academic success at college. It is administered on Saturday mornings and lasts 3 hours and 45 minutes. The three areas scored are Critical Reading, Math and Writing.


+ PSAT

The Practice Scholastic Aptitude Test is offered to sophomores and juniors in October of each year. It is an opportunity to a test similar to the actual SAT under real testing conditions. Students receive detailed score information back which can help them assess their strengths and areas for improvement. Students who do well may qualify to participate in the National Merit Program.


+ ACT

A nationally normed test providing testing in four subject areas: English, math, reading and science. There is also an optional writing test. The test is offered on Saturdays and lasts for 2 hours 55 minutes or 3 hours 55 minutes with writing.
