Dear White Salmon Community,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to let you know that I have canceled our upcoming home varsity football game scheduled for Friday, October 18th, 2024. The safety of our players is our top priority. Due to numerous injuries, we have an inadequate number of players to safely field a varsity team.
I understand that this news may be disappointing. I know our community looks forward to and enjoys a spirited evening of football and community support. We will move our youth football night, cheer camp performances, and our first annual Skyline Heath Pink Week fundraiser, to next Friday, October 25th.
Thank you for your continued enthusiasm for our team and school community. We appreciate your understanding and support.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.
Warm regards,
AJ Valencia

Columbia High School is looking for alumni who have served in the U.S. military.
In preparation for Veterans Day 2024, the Leadership class is seeking information about CHS graduates who have served in the military, and we could use some help contacting them.
We will be featuring a small number of veterans as speakers and guests at the November 8 assembly in the CHS gymnasium, but even if your CHS grad/veteran no longer lives in the area, we would like to add him or her to our Veterans Day events. We are also looking for digital copies of photos from years of service to go along with senior/yearbook photos we’ll be displaying in a video tribute.
Please contact Peter Knowles by email at peter.knowles@whitesalmonschools.org, or by phone at (509)493-1970 ext. 225 with information about the veteran’s years of service and branch of service, as well as year of graduation from CHS.
