Congratulations to the boys wrestling team who competed in the TriCo Championshop this Saturday in La Center. Matthias P. was named Trico Wrestler of the Year. Automatically qualifying for state were Matthias P. and Razo S. who placed 2nd, Everett C. who placed 3rd, and Holden U. and Gio S. placed 4th.
Wyatt P., Falkner G., Colt C., and Juan C. all placed 5th and will wrestle this coming weekend for a chance to qualify. Also placing were Zeke C., Lyle G., and Marcos C. who took 6th in their respective weight classes.
This weekend, the girls will travel to Montesano for a chance to punch their tickets to the state meet.
