Farm to Table
I am delighted to offer this elective class to Henkle students. In this elective course you will acquire knowledge and ability to grow and prepare delicious, nutricious food skillfully and safely. I started working in restaurant kitchens in high school and made a living as a line cook during and after college. Throughout this course I will share recipes and food preparation techniques I learned on the job.
During this class we will also be working on the school gardens and greenhouse, where we will harvest, plant, and maintain a variety of fruits and vegetables.
