** Required for Graduation**In Algebra I students will build on previsously learned concepts in algebraic thinking while continuing to develop mathematical practices. Students will learn to use functions to represent relationships mathematically using words, concrete elements, numbers, graphs, and algebraic expressions. They will explore concepts in linear and nonlinear equations and functions, systems of linear equations and inequalities, exponential and polynomial expressions and functions, and quadratic functions and equations.
