Principal's Bio

CHS Principal

Craig McKee is the Principal at Columbia High School. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Willamette University, Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Grand Canyon University and his administration credentials from Gonzaga University.  He spent one year teaching math in the Lake County school district in Oregon.  He was then hired by the Stevenson-Carson School District.  After three years of teaching at the middle school, Mr. McKee was moved up to the high school where he taught physical education for 21 years.  In 2013, the Stevenson-Carson School District appointed him Vice Principal and Athletic Director of the high school.  During his tenure in Stevenson, Mr. McKee helped create and support the Summer Success program, Lewis and Clark class, and the athletic Hall of Fame.  He was also very active in high school and youth athletics. In 2014, Mr. McKee was hired as the Columbia High School Principal.   He currently resides in White Salmon with his wife, Brindi and cat, Reeses.  Their two daughters, Jewel and Lexi, are students at Northern Arizona University.
